I'm Kim!
Kim Bean is a professional hairstylist & makeup artist, nail tech and creator of whatsbeanHappening.com, a beauty, fashion and lifestyle brand.

Kim started her business In 2009, creating videos about beauty, style and her work in film and television. Today Kim works on film and TV sets in addition to doing hair and makeup for weddings and commercials, in her hometown North Bay, Ontario and Toronto.

I'm also the creator of this blog and e-commerce website (whatsbeanHappening)! My online shop retails professional haircare, makeup, skincare, fashion, hand crafted jewellery and sustainable lifestyle products from around the world.
My tutorials, blog posts and product reviews offer professional beauty and style advice to all ages, ethnicities, genders, identities and price points. The products I use on set and that I retail tend to be animal cruelty free, sustainable, vegan and clean.

I offer my clients and viewers the same tips, advice and service I give models, actors and celebrities.
My business is entirely female owned and led.
