Kim Bean | whatsbeanhappening is a professional hair and makeup artist & brand based in North Bay Ontario Canada.
Kim started her business In 2009, creating videos about beauty, style and her work in film and television. Today, Kim works on film and TV sets, in addition to doing hair and makeup for weddings and commercials.
A bit more about me...
I studied acting (Brock University) and earned a Cosmetology Diploma (Marvel Beauty School, Toronto Yorkville). I'm a certified Nail Technician, with an FX Makeup Certification from the Stratford Artist Alliance. I also have a diploma in Social Media Marketing (George Brown College).
I've been mentored by some of the most talented hair and makeup artists in North America, while working on shows like Star Trek Discovery, Letterkenny, Carter, VWARS, Call Me Mother, The Lake, Bad Blood, Cardinal and more.
Most recently I've started work on commercials and fashion shows for clients like MAC Cosmetics, SportsNet, McDonalds, No Frills and Microsoft.
